Rosacea

Rosacea is a distressing condition that results in reddening of the face, cheeks and nose, with pimples and red veins appearing on the skin. In some people, it can ruin their lives, leading to a loss of confidence, and even reclusiveness. Various medications can be prescribed, but sometimes, even these don’t work. The IPL beams of light selectively destroy the blood vessels responsible for the redness seen in rosacea. We would however recommend that you seek the advice of your own GP first regarding rosacea, as many treatments are available on the NHS.
