Thread Veins

These tiny little veins that often appear on the legs or around the nose are often most visible when on the face. They sometimes can be caused by underlying medical conditions, and that’s why here at ReJuvenis, as doctors we are able to tell you if you need these investigated. If not, then they can be treated using IPL or laser therapy. The doctor will apply a cooling gel to the skin to both lubricate and cool the skin. This is followed by the application of either laser or Intensed Pulsed Light. There will be a slight stinging, as though hit by an elastic band, when the laser or IPL fires and the skin is often red for half an hour to an hour afterwards. The laser selectively destroys the individual blood vessels by heating them intensely, and their appearance gradually fades over time.
